Solution Architect (Data) (3969-2)

Full-Time in Budapest, HU

Our partner is a global consulting and training company, a provider of data and cloud services, offering assistance with all phases of data and cloud transformation, from enablement through implementation. They also operate as a training company, providing on-site and online courses worldwide. They train employees of companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber and many other financial and technology companies around the world.

Tasks:

  • Work individually on projects and also as a lead of small delivery teams
  • Assist EMEA/US businesses in resolving their data engineering, machine learning engineering and cloud migration issues
  • Performing design, debug and performance analysis on solutions
  • Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutions
  • Mentor your colleagues and support their work
  • Participate in tech interviews
  • Keep in touch and communicate with clients along with a Project Manager

Requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in IT field
  • 7+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) and 3 years of experience in software engineering and infrastructure architecture
  • Experience working on Unix/Linux and with AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Familiar with software engineering princpiles, such as CI/CD concepts and understanding of Distributed Systems
  • Technologies:
    - Python
    - SQL
    - NoSQL
    - Unix
  • Good understanding of Apache Spark and the Big Data Ecosystem
  • Tech Mentoring / People management experience is a plus
  • Fluency in English
